WorkoutsLab ("we", "us") runs a workout-program website and an offline-capable training app. This policy explains what information we handle, what stays on your device, and your rights. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to answer you and administer licenses. Your training data never leaves your device. We do not sell personal information, run ads, or use cross-site trackers.
Contact messages. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, topic, and message so we can reply. Messages are transmitted by our form provider (see §4).
Purchase and license administration. Subscriptions are sold through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment and email address and issues your license key. We never see or store your card details. We keep a record of issued license keys to unlock the app and prevent abuse.
On-device app data (never sent to us). The training app stores your workout logs, favorites, settings, and checkoffs in your own browser's local storage, plus one functional cookie (workoutslab_key, 1 year) that keeps you unlocked in the installed app. This data lives only on your device; we have no access to it and cannot see it.
Site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and cookieless: aggregate visits and performance, no personal profiles.
Vault feed fetches. The app downloads the public workout catalog to run offline. These requests carry no personal information.
We disclose information only to these processors as needed to run the service, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information to anyone.
No advertising trackers. No data brokers. No sale of personal information. No access to your on-device training logs — they are yours alone.
Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request and a reasonable follow-up period, then deleted on request. License records are kept while your subscription is active and as required for tax/accounting records held by our merchant of record. On-device app data persists until you clear it in your browser or device.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, send us a message through the contact form from the email address in question and we will respond. Billing records held by Lemon Squeezy are subject to their retention duties; we will forward deletion requests to them where applicable.
WorkoutsLab is intended for adults. Subscriptions may only be purchased by someone 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has contacted us, tell us and we will delete it.
Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), license validation happens server-side with our payment provider, and app data stays on your device by design. No internet-connected system is perfectly secure, so we minimize what we hold in the first place.
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above; continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
